I smiled, and laughed dryly

And you laughed too

Before I left
We hugged for the first,
And last time
You touched my face
"Don't worry, you will be fine,"

Is that a promise?

Because I don't know if I will be.

If I can be.

Yesterday, before your flight took off
You texted me
"I'm really going to miss you.
Be good and see you soon I hope"

I hope so too.

Life is not fair, but God is always kind 

You may not always get what you want 
Heck, you're lucky if you get it for half of the time 

There will be times 
When you work harder than the person next to you 
But he will get it instead of you 

Some people may be lucky 
Born pretty
