Happy a decade of New Doctor Who!
I'm not a long time Whovian.
I discovered Doctor Who about 2012 after I joined HOL.
HOL is a Hogwarts Online school - based on Harry Potter, I know. But most people there are obsessed with Doctor Who. Our headmaster is a DalekSec.
And I bet there are many people who firstly came not knowing about Doctor Who and become a Whovian after spend some time here, like me.
I was in a team called The Weeping Angels in my first Summer Quidditch League - a summer activity. And so I wanted to find out more about them by started watching 42 episode. A few episodes before Blink, which contains the weeping angels.
I liked 42 because it has a good story, they were in a spaceship, about to crash into a burning sun, with possible deadly creatures inside the spaceship.
So it was a good start and it was easy to like Doctor Who after that.

I hope that I can annoy my children to watch it. Or to paint my doors TARDIS blue. Or to have miniature Daleks and the weeping angels on the coffee tables.
And I hope when I'm retired one day I can spend my time once in a while watching a new Doctor Who episode.
