DECEMBER 2016 BRIEFCASE

It's officially the end of the year! Woah.

NICO ROSBERG RETIRING!

Just a week after being a world champion, he retires.
God, Nic, next season would've been a big pay for you.
It was shocking, heartbreaking, but I also support his decision to be a home-dad (pretty much?) rather than risking his life and stressing out inside the land jet.
But sure, we will miss you so very very much!

TANTE RETNO'S BIRTHDAY

I wish her to be always happy, always healthy, and always blessed.
Lots of love for her!

NAUFAL'S GRADUATION

Hooray! Finally he did graduate!

GUNUNG PANCAR

For the 239487289th time, really hahaha.
But sadly we couldn't explore much because the small river we used to trail was filled of water (half of it, but still) and we found lots of fluffy caterpillar (ew!) so we stopped exploring and sitting around in hammock instead.

FAMILY GATHERING - END OF 2016

Even though it wasn't as festive as last year's but it was still nice and warm.
My family is not perfect, but I love them very much.
Especially my drama-less cousins haha.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SRI HANURAGA!

So many unintended gigs of him I've watched, and I loved each of them.
I now finally have most of his albums and in his birthday, I posted this photo on instagram.
Even though perhaps his notification was flooded with blessings at that time so he didn't notice mine.
Well, Aga, happy birthday! Many happy returns!

FAMILY VISIT

To have bude-bude like this, you couldn't really complain.
They're the coolest, funniest, yet loudest bude-bude to be around with!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GIE!

Best people were born on December... perhaps!
Well, Gie passed away many decades ago, but I was so happy when I read newspaper and it has article on a new book about him! Yay!
I straightly went to a bookstore the next day and found it.

KROS-KADO TRAFFIC DEPT

I forgot that we DO have a male in our department, and unluckily, that ONE MALE got my present, which was very lady-like (won't tell you what).
I got a scarf!

MOVIES

Since I got HOOQ free account from Telkomsel, I watched a few Indonesian movies that I wanted to watch but I didn't.
The BFG was really a fairytale but I didn't like some point even though I can't explain why. Something is missing.
Snowden was mindblowing, as good as the documentary, or maybe better?
It almost made me taped my laptop's front camera. Maybe soon.
Soekarno wasn't bad at all. Always enjoy mas Hanung's movies. I adore Ario Bayu's as Soekarno.
And since I've never read details on Bung Karno's life, it's interesting to watch the process on how he married ibu Fatmawati. And other details.
SuperDidi made my eyes watery a little. If you want to watch a fun but not lebay movie, this is recommended. Oh, and can someone explain to me why Vino looks so good no matter what?
Filosofi Kopi, I finally watched you! I don't want to talk about the storyline, because what impressed me the most was Chicco Jerikho's natural acting. It was just nice to watch someone who acts like he doesn't act.
The Secret Life of Pets wasn't as good as I thought. Boo!
My Pretend Girlfriend was not as cheesy as I thought. Interesting in some ways. Although it's far from perfect. Watching the movie didn't want me to read the manga. Not winning my heart, you.
And since I'm a fan of anything non-fiction, I really enjoy Sully.
How crazy it is that behind a successful rescue could cause many problem afterwards.

BOOKS

After watching the BFG, of course I want to read the book. Just to make a prove that the book is always better than the movie. And it was right once again.
Saint Anything was unlike other young adult book. It got my attention with its brief summary on goodreads, and it got me hooked easily.
When you like someone who's died decades ago, you would reach some point where you just didn't hope of new book about him will be released. BUT THEN IT DID. Thanks, Tempo!
And even though I've read many books and articles about Gie, this books gave me another new stories.

MUSIC

I want to put Cooking Rice by Sketsa but it's not available online anywhere. It's catchy and it got Fira laughed when she read the song title. Please remind me to ask Gerald and/or Dimas about how they named this song.

And since this month is Sri Hanuraga's birth-month, I'm gonna put one of his popular arrangement that I especially like, Suwe Ora Jamu.

And, Monument by Mutemath, just because I can't stop listening to this song even one year after it's released.

That was it!
Another note, I bought a new guitar (it's fancy, it's lovely, it's everything I need) so I will spend lots of time in future hurting my finger.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
