Lots of good things happened in November.
Mostly consisted of friends (and the new ones!), family, and music.
Which I'm very grateful.
And it's nearly the end of the year! Yay!
TEAM DINNER
It was only lovely dinner at Manhattan Fish Market.
I ordered my forever favorite Black Cod <3
I'm not a selfie master, so enjoy this bad one!
BARASUARA & ISYANA SARASVATI
Watching Barasuara & Isyana Sarasvati live, in person, for the very first time!
Unlike THAT time when I could watch Dipha Barus from the very best spot, it was very crowded for Barasuara :(
They hypnotized me.
And for the first time, I don't feel like recording and just want to enjoy the show.
Hence, there's not much of photos not videos.
You know what was shocking me?
That there are WAY MORE people went to see Barasuara than Isyana.
When watching Isyana, I was in two front rows.
I wish it was my spot when I watched Barasuara.
A glimpse of madness watching Isyana (I didn't scream, btw!)
PURWOKERTO
Visit Purwokerto for Luksie and Bimo's wedding.
There was a big demonstration in Jakarta in the afternoon that day so we all worried about the situation.
I met and talked with a couple of strangers (separately), it's nice to have someone to hang with when you had to wait in the station until dawn.
And apparently, that weekend was all about new friends.
I also met Luksie's uni friends and tagged along with them during in Purwokerto.
It was five new friends!
Putri - Hanna - Bimo - Luksie - Chita - Resa - Monik
Soto Sokaraja. I don't like it :(
FAMILY DINNER
Which we don't do very often, but we did it that night! Yay!
FAREWELL MBAK NUNUK
Our Panda bear, Baymax, walking pillow, BB-user in the sea of droid users XD
WE WILL TRULY MISS YOU! <3
JAZZ GOES TO CAMPUS 2016
I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT THOSE DAMN VIP TICKETS!!!
It was my second Barasuara gig... in one month (and ever too!)
And when we first walked in the venue, we passed Marco & Gerald of Barasuara, but I only said to mbak Ani "It was them!" (she had no idea of who they were lol).
But I tried to shake it off and just wished we could meet them again.
Anyway, we watched Teza, Monita Tahalea, Mocca, DuaEmpat band, Raisa, Tuslah, and Barasuara.
And after we watched Monita, we went sitting in near backstage (barricaded with a large tarps). People started calling "Monita!" as she passed by. My friend and I got up and approached her.
But she was not my intention *evilaughs*
As people calling her, I went a little farther and called Gerald who was a little far.
He heard and approached me, "Hi, what's up"
"Can we take pictures?"
"Sure, but I can't and don't know how to go out, Can we take pictures like this?" (between the tarps)
And HERE THEY ARE!
(I've told you I'm bad at taking selfies)
He's a cutie pie.
Thank you, JGTC 2016! <
Singing along with Monita!
(Please ignore the dancing guitarist :P)
TV SERIES
ThAs a fan of history and DETAILS, I really enjoy The Crown... a lot!
If you are like me, or just liking the drama in general, I recommend you to watch this,
The Flash is as exciting as the first and second seasons. That's being said, not better.
I only have watched a couple of first episodes of Supergirl. Not a fan of Superman-Supergirl team up but Ashley said he will disappear soon, so, GOOD!
And if you ever wondered what I'm doing mostly in my free time, the answer is: watching Detective Conan!
I've been behind a lot, so I try to catch up.
MOVIES
Finally finished that DAMN The Conjuring 2!
I don't like horror movies, so if you found me watching them, it's most likely because The Boys watched it.
Went to see Doctor Stranger early November and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them at the end of the month. Love both of them!
Watched one documentary movie by Leonardo DiCaprio (it was stunning and heartbreaking! So sorry that my country took part in those terrible tragedy), one Batman animation (which my cousin laughed at because he thought the animation was funny), one Japanese movie (it was cute <3), two horror movies (Don't Breath was breathtakingly scary! The idea is crazy), one fantasy (I'M GOING BACK TO THE WIZARDING WORLD! And can I tell everyone how excited I am on Eddie Redmayne joining the Harry Potter family?!), and two sci-fi movies (HI BENNIE CUMBERBATCH, missed you!).
BOOKS
I like the book "Through the Looking Glass" but I don't like Alice the character.
So I was struggling finishing the book.
And I forgot when was the last time I read a non-fantasy and non-young adult books, but that gap made me slowly reading The Light Between Oceans, especially the first chapters.
But the last 200 pages was easy. I ready 150 pages in a couple hours after work.
And damn, this story is heartbreaking.
I kinda don't wan't to watch the movie so I don't ruin this reflection of this book I have on my head.
But the movie received good ratings so maybe I would.
FORMULA ONE
NICO ROSBERG IS THE 33RD WORLD CHAMPION!
Even though many people said he was lucky, I don't believe that a bit!
It was an intense race, I monitored while I was waiting for Barasuara went on stage.
But so happy with the result.
And have to mention that Sebastian Vettel was the Driver of The Day and got his podium in the last race of 2016 season :)
So proud of both of them!
Congrats, Champ!
" It's been a tough year but it's nice to finish on a high." - Vettel
#ObrigadoFelipe
It wouldn't be the same without you :)
SONGS
Because of Barasuara I've watched twice this month, one of the songs I can't get out of my mind this month is Bahas Bahasa <3
And 168 by Monita Tahalea.
I just realized recently that the lyrics is so meaningful and I can relate.
A little bit late of a few months, but I'm so into this album recently.
Thought of going to Solitude tour but I couldn't.
I can listening to this whole album on repeat all WEEK!
I've been listening to this song a lot since the early of the month.
Maybe at first I was a little bit tired listening to the same kind of songs, and back to listen Puan Kelana again.
***
And I think that was it my November in one post!
Hopefully I can make posts like this so I can keep tracks on what I'm doing/watching/reading/listening to every month.
Ciao!
